Contest Rules :

1. Eligibility: Open to all SGVU students.
2. Create Content: Reel (30-60 sec).
3. Mandatory Tags: Tag @sgvuvibez and use_#SGVUreelrush in the caption.
4. Originality: Content must be original and made during the contest timeline.
5. Collaborate: Use the “Collab” feature on Instagram when posting so it appears on both the student’s profile and @sgvuvibez.
6. No Copyright Music: Use Instagram-approved music or original audio.
7. Multiple Entries allowed, but only one reel per theme.
8. Deadline: All entries must be submitted by Thursday Evening by 06:00 PM.
9. Shortlisting: Top entries will be selected based on creativity, quality, and engagement.
10. Winner Announcement: On sguvibez (collab with Official page of SGVU) on every Friday.

Winner Selection Criteria & Rules

Phase 1: Eligibility Check

All entries will be first screened to ensure they:

  •  Follow all contest rules (used correct tags, original content, proper format, collab with sguvibez page)
  • Are appropriate and align with SGVU’s values and image
  • Are submitted before the deadline

Phase 2: Scoring System (Out of 100 Points)

A combination of jury evaluation + public engagement:

Creativity & Originality 30 points Is the idea fresh, unique, and interesting?
Content Quality & Execution 20 points Visuals, editing, audio, clarity, storytelling
Relevance to Theme 20 points Does it reflect SGVU life, values, talent, or the theme clearly?
Public Engagement 20 points Likes, shares, comments (measured until contest end date)
Caption & Messaging 10 points Is the caption thoughtful, witty, or aligned with the post's message?

Final Winner Selection

  •  Top 10 entries with the highest overall scores will be shortlisted.
  • Among them, Top 3 winners will be selected by jury review and score consolidation.
  • Public voting or internal poll can be used as a tiebreaker if needed.

Important Notes for Participants:

  • Artificial boosting (buying likes/comments) will disqualify the entry.
  • The decision of the jury will be final and binding.
  •  Plagiarism or use of copyrighted media without credit will lead to disqualification.
